The MOST important thing
that you should know is that that you NEVER,
EVER remove your mask while on the playing
field. A hit in the eye with a paintball would
be harmful to your vision and could result
in permanent loss of sight. DON'T ever take
off your face protection unless you are in
designated areas. Learn
about your gun, if it is a rental or your
own equipment. If you don't know, don't
be afraid to ask. Our staff is there for
you and will be happy to help. The only
dumb question is the one that didn't get
asked.
Please keep your barrel plug
in and trigger safety on at all times when
not in the playing field. We don't want
any stray paintballs flying in areas where
safety equipment is not used.
Chronograph your paintgun
several times during the day. Whether you
use C02 or nitrogen, you must chronograph
your gun several times during a day's play
if you're at all concerned with safety.
BE COMFORTABLE:
Wear some type of comfortable
boots or shoes. The terrain is variable
and you don't want to have to quit early
because of sore or wet feet.
Wear dark colors, you
don't want to become a bright target!
ABOUT THE GAME:
Paintballers take this
game very seriously and will not tolerate
cheaters. Play fair. If you are hit and
see a splat, call yourself out.
Be alert, and don't stay in
the same place too long!
Don't call yourself
dead unless you are sure! Sometimes you
feel a hit, and the paintball has bounced
right off. If you are not sure, ask one
of the referees for a paintcheck.
